Greetings from Phoenix, Arizona! My name is Jason and I compose music for film & television for a living now, but I'm originally a drummer "by trade". I recently purchased a ddrum4 (not SE) set with cast pads and upgraded the OS to 1.50. I intend to use the set for recording in the studio but I'll also use it on some live gigs along with real cymbals and triggering an acoustic kick / snare. I'm particularly interested in learning more about loading / upgrading sounds via Mac / Logic software. I'm happy to finally join this forum, (which along with Sam himself) has already been a great resource with plenty of useful information. Thanks Sam!

Glad to see that you made it over to the forum here Jason , Really cool to see that the ddrum4 kit you picked up from that guy is working out well for you too . I checked out your link and it seems like you have some great stuff going on with the film and television work . I'm working on getting some of my original compositions into these kind of area's as well , so any tips you have would be really cool . There's some good tips and resources allready forming in the Sounds , Manuals , Literature & General Info. section , so you may find some good info. there too when you need it . There's also some active members on here with alot of knowledge in sampling and those areas , so don't even hesitate posting a question if you run into a problem . sam(otacon28)
