Hey All! Nice to see a ddrum resource on the 'Net again. Thanks Sam!
About me - a 30+ year drummer, I've owned my ddrum4 setup since '98. I was a regular contributor to the old ddrums.com site for years and though I'll be selling my setup soon (strictly due to lack of use), I still hope to contribute here.

Great to see you on here brotha' . I learned a good bit from your knowledge of ddrum gear over on the kraft forum when it was still around , so I'm really happy to see you made your way over to this forum . sam(otacon28)

Thanks Sam. I was really disappointed to see the Kraft site go down as well, especially with all the years of info it had. Incredible resource, now lost to the ether. Hopefully someone will be able to get their hands on it and repost it as a read-only archive (after cleaning out the spam of course..) I actually stumbled across this your by accident as I was trying to gather info on the going rate of the ddrum gear. When I saw that you were the one running the place, I decided I at least had to register and say hello Unfortunately, I'll be selling my setup soon, so I won't be able to experiment to help out someone. I've barely used my ddrum gear in the last few years and won't have any reason to with the new band either. So, after 13 years, I think it's time to find it a new home. That being said though, I'll try to pop in regularly and offer what I can for input/assistance. The ddrum community helped me out a LOT and I see no reason for me not to return the karma

The ddrum community helped me out a LOT and I see no reason for me not to return the karma Very cool Scott great to have you here , Yep there has been some discussions about the info. from the kraft forum being released again in a read-only format , but it's been a process to see any more mentioned about it . There's several ddrum player's that have expressed interest in it ( a few members on here even ) so hopefully something will happen with that . It would be great to see something like that materialize . If something does show some light on that I may try to see how I can link up with the area where this information is available or even create a FAQ area here with that information on it . Being it was all user based info. I can't see where any problem would occur by wanting to make this info. available for the ddrum user's out there , but I haven't really discussed things like that with the people who own the site where that was all archived , so we can only hope at this point . I hear you on the ddrum community & I feel the same way , that's why I'm glad I was able to build this forum , and we seem to have something here that is continuously growing within this forum . Drummer's have always been good about hooking each other up , so with the ddrum aspects I think it really is an extension of that way of treating others . We all realize how minimal info. and resources are out there anymore , and we all seem to be really trying to help each other out which is very cool . It's like a community but also in some sense's like a family of ddrum'ers sam(otacon28)
