Greetings all! Last night I looking for some historical reference to support a statement about the existence of a “Special Edition” of the ddrum4 versus the well known “Signature Edition”. The closest I could find was the term “Special Edition” used to generally describe a drum set configuration (module, pads, etc) as either a SystemOne or SystemTwo depending on the actual configuration as opposed to an actual version of the module itself. While digging through Wayback Machine a couple of links came up that may be of interest to others, including the original Clavia site and the unofficial ddrums.com (June, 2004 snapshot) where the predecessor to this forum was run. Many of the clavia.se download links are still active within the archive. Not surprisingly many of the ddrums.com discussion links are broken as that was likely a database backed forum. Wouldn’t it be fun to get a backup of that database! I was not a member of the forums during that time but from what I can find ddrums.com was provided by Drumbalaya (an original e-drum store in my hometown of Bellevue, Wa which was closed in 2007) and also a reference to Kraft Music (where vdrums.com lives). Anyway, enjoy the links if not already familiar! Cheers! Ken
