Pulled my old 4SE kit out, replaced the original heads, fired it up and it's been great to play again at home without worrying about volume! I had it in storage for a lot of years, though, and my tastes in snare drums in those days really tended towards a lot of ring and high end. I'd like to use a sound that's a bit deeper and woodier now, but I don't know which of the sounds to grab and I'd rather not have to get rid of some of the existing ones to just try the different snares out.
So... anyone know of a place to listen to the various samples? I figured there would be something on YouTube but struck out there. Barring that, which snare would you suggest for something deep and rich sounding?

Greetings! Assuming you have all of the files you can use ddrum4edit ( check this thread) to listen to the sounds on your computer (Mac or Windows). Just use some good headphones. If you do not have the sound files you can also download from them from the same site where you pull down ddrum4edit. Cheers! Ken
