Hello, In 2007 I bought a ddrumAT module on ebay....It was not fonctionning and I repaired it (I am an electronicien and I collect old electronic drums ) It work very well but it was cosmetically awful (scratched and rusty....) Two month ago I have restaured it (paint and new front face printed on paper with vernish) Here are 3 pictures of it (one how it was and two now). I am really pleased by the result. Will be happy by your comments... And happy new year to everybody.... Thierry EPPHERRE from FRANCE

Hello Thierry, I'm Ubaldo from Italy;
I need to repair a Ddrum AT module : the trigger inputs are not working and the samples have distortion on outputs when played with the "channel select" buttons; on headphone output I hear only one channel... The factory reset doesn't worked...
Maybe you have the service manual? Could be the D/A converter TLC7524? Ah, the DDrum 2 service manual may also be useful...
It's almost 3 years that i'm searching this service manual or schematics... Nobody managed to help me...
You're the last hope for me...
many thanks!!!

uby62 To be fair, service manuals are not always that helpful. If you know electronics, usually you can find the issue without it. I would start checking the power supply, that all supply voltages are correct. The AT would be very similar to the dd2 and 3, with some differences. The triggercard is probably very similar. If you can find a local pro audio repair guy, he could most likely help.

If you have audio output, albeit distorted, this means that both digital and analog circuits work, but indicates power supply issue. Power off the unit and disconnect triggercard (inputcard). Then power it back up and send MIDI to the unit to see if sounds still are distorted.
