Which are the DD3 pads? I have a set of cast precision pads as well as the prior plastic body pads (in black), both of which I'd be willing to sell.

DD3 meaning Ddrum 3 pads...the ones made specifically for the Ddrum 3 (they had position detection which the Ddrum 4 ones don't have). They came in black or white, I don't care which color, but I'm looking for some in good or very-good condition. Are those the ones you have?

The dd4 cast precision pads also allow for position detection.

@krillo Thanks for the reply. When using a dd3, do the dd3 pads provide any functional advantage over the dd4 cast precision pads? I have the original dd4 cast pads (1st version), but I'd like to know if I use them with dd3 will I be missing anything. Thanks again.

Hi
They are basically the same. The only minor difference is that the dd3 is a bit softer to play. dd4 cast precision pads are really hard and stiff, I think. But the dd3 pads are not a huge difference.
