Could anyone help me and tell me if using Axis Longboard Double Pedals with eKits [or DDRum Bass Drum Trigger, with Tama Speed Cobras] & a DDrum 4,Would they together be able to trigger quick enough to keep up with the Speed of Technical Death Metal Bass Drum Fills,I mean someone must have tried these setups,Well would either eKits or DDrum Bass Trigger and Tama Pedals be best,Or would they both work equally as well,I have no had a go with either setups yet

To this day, the Clavia era ddrum modules (up to and including the ddrum4 SE) have the fastest measured triggering speed out of any module that's been produced yet. It's extremely unlikely that you will ever be able to play faster than the module can track, as long as it's setup properly... You should be able to use pretty much any trigger sensor (like the Axis e-pedals) on your bass drum, as long as the module's dialed in properly to use it. For example - you wouldn't necessarily want to set the trigger type to CYMB if your using an acoustic trigger on a 22" kick drum. That being said though, trigger contact, placement and head tuning (for acoustic triggers) are also important factors and may take you some time and experimentation to get the results you want.

Thanks very much that it was very helpful,But if you are using a DDrum Bass Trigger what tension on the Kick Drum would be best to aid trigger reponse,Slack or Tight ?,Or would it not matter ?.

You'll likely need to experiment with the head tension to get the trigger response and play ability you want from the drum. When I triggered mine, I had to reverse my tuning (batter higher than reso), otherwise I'd end up with a lot of false triggering or poor response.
