Alright guys, first post so a quick introduction: Ray here from SW Missouri "Go MIZZOU", 41 yrs of age, and playing drums for Don Collins and the Firecreek band. Well, I picked up a Ddrum Defiant set, my first Ddrum set ever. The set has the MAY internal mic system in tom and floor; Sennheiser e604's, and bass drum; Sennheiser e602, with Paiste 2002's. (ignore the damn XS20 please, lol). With Porkpie snare, cases for all drums and cymbals, extra heads for all the drums, a bunch of die cast rims 14 and 16"x2, 1 extra e604 and 1 SM 57 mic and a SKB hardcase for all the hardware. Paid 600 buckaroos for the entire packet! I think I got a great deal. Here are some pics. (Pics made while playing the Indigo Sky Casino, Seneca MO)

Welcome Ray! While this forum's more for the older ddrum electronics (ddrum4, ddrum3, etc), I'll agree, that's a nice little set you've got. Just the mics alone are worth more than what you paid for the entire kit! I use the May internal mics on my Sonor kit - EV/868's in the Kick and both floor toms, Senheiser e604 in my mounted tom and Shure SM-57 in my snare. Every sound engineer I've dealt with since getting them absolutely love my kit If you ever run into an issue or have any questions on them, let me know and I'll see if I can help.

thanks Kyrrinstoch, I appreciate it. If this is not the right forum for Ddrum acoustic drums, what forum would you recommend? I'll sure will use your expertise if I need to, thanks man!

Ray, I'm not sure what to tell you, as it looks like the official DDrum forum (on ddrum.com) went down and was never restored
