Hello Just to introduce my self to this board. My name is Zoran, just bought my brand new dd4se . After 15 years of straight good old fashion acoustic drumming, I decided to get my self some electric just for home practice so I got my self a nice TD-9 module, some home made pads and and some cymbals. OK, so off I go... riiight... This kind of suck, i thought to my self... It's electric, you cant have good sound out of this box... But since I spend my money on it and it's here now, I will keep bang on it. So as the time went on I found my self playing less and less at home, and keep going back to practice room for a byte of real sound. And eventually, Roland ended up just collecting dust in a spare room... For long time I was aware of the ddrum. Drummers at weddings, parties, dance places.... they all used them. And I was amazed how good sound they have thru the PA. But i thought, these are 10+ year old machines, there has to be something better till now... I got in to research and I found out that there is. 2box! Since I didn't have the cash for it, I ended up with the next best machine, the 4se. Now I'm finally happy with the sound I got. I might even take it on a smaller gig ( that would be weird, hard rock and blues on an e-drum... but guitars are electric too ) That' it for now. I will have some technical questions, but I will post them in an appropriate topic. Cheers Zoran
