Maybe a basic question, but im planning on running my ddrum 4 through an alesis multimix, just at home, was going to run it through channel 1 which is xlr rather than 1 side of a stereo output, which i have used in the past but now want to use balaced leads. Does it matter stereo or mono? I run it through 1 18 subwoofer with a 15 top cab so its never going to sound stereo. Is that clear or have i explained my questio badly?? thanks adam.

Hi, do you want to use balanced leads from the ddrum4 to the mixer? The ddrum4 outputs are unbalanced, but you can do a so-called impedance balancing: www.uneeda-audio.com/zbal.htm If you do not, you should use mono cables (XLR to 1/4" tip/sleeve) if you still want to connect the ddrum4 to a XLR input.
