Anyone know where I can find/order the rubber piece that co9vers the playing area of the ddrum cymbals? After 14 years, mine are starting to show their age...

Hi Kyrrinstoch,I'm sure you can find a suitable replacement off a drum practice pad or a place that sells rubber in other application's.Maybe a Lowes or Home Depot is worth roaming around. Those pads aren't critical to the plate triggering so make it how you like for rebound. You can always scrape it off if you don't like it and try another piece. As a matter of fact,I may replace mine with something thicker and quieter now that I realize I can put whatever I want there. If you want to test out all this, just find another piece of rubber and lay it on top of what's left of the worn out one and see how it triggers. You'll probably improve the original.Good luck.-Kenny
