everything was working fine until I hooked up the a outputs, then unhooked them and tried to get sound from just a channel button.it comes thru on the headphones but if those are undone and any channel button is pushed I get no sound anymore.the only thing I can think of is I checked the available memory left in shift mode and then no channel sound except thru the headphones.what did I do to change it?I know I also scrolled up thru the system and maybe did something to the midi functions inadvertently with the rotary.what are the proper settings for the system bars?-thanks -kenny

Hi, You actually say that you unplugged both the outputs AND the headphones? Then you would of course get no sound. Make sure you have your monitoring plugged in and that output is choosen. Check that you didn't accidentaly turn Local Off. Should read "Lon" for Local On. That means sounds are produced locally, i.e in the module.

Hi Krllo,I thought the module was supposed to make the channel sounds when a channel button was pushed without any output or headphone plugged in.I 'm sure it dd that before but I went up the system button and set all the parameters and set all B outputs to off and then came to all the midi stuff and I did shut those to off including the local and after I lost sound I went back and put the local to on and got sound thru phones and both A outs but when I unplugged the phones and out jacks and pushed a channel button,no sound. Was I ever getting sound just out of the module?I thought I was but now I think I set something in the midi wrong.Ialso went thru the sound button wth shift to find memory left and it only has 222 left in available memory.Does that mean all the megakits have already been downloaded and how do I find them and put them in P-1 thru P 25?- sorry for the barrage of questions but everytime I get lost you get me back again,thanks,-Kenny
