Help again, please! does anyone know hoe to remove the cover -red part- with four screws holding it together.I must be missing something because I thought it would come off easily. i wan't to see if a dead trigger input isn't soldered or something. Now I'm also losing half of a cymbal channel and it was fine an hour ago.I feel like this is breaking apart before my eyes and I can't believe how incredible these sound!!! please help me save my module, thanks again-Kenny

Remove two black screws on the front, and the back plus all the inputs (top row 1/4" jacks) nuts. Be cautious not to zap the electronics by ESD. I wouldn't think though that the problem is in the module. Probably a solder in one of the plugs of the cable. Try different cables and different pads first! Good luck!

thanks for the reply :)and yes I did the musical plugs and pads game.If you press the first cymbal channel button you get sound but it's only coming out of one ear in the headphone It was working so great and I finally got to hear how incredible these drums are and now it seems I've got a dead tom and a half- dead cymbal trigger input - thanks for trying to help - I'm really glad you guys are here,Kenny

Hi Kenny, just a thought.. check the output on the cymbal channel is set to 1.50 as i thought this about my snare and it was set at 2.0 which only came out of one ear

Some good points allready made .
Also as Krillo allready mentioned be sure if you're touching any areas where the circuit boards are especially around where the firmware card is to ground yourself to the module just by laying your hand on the modules metal housing initially before touching any circuit boards . This will help deal with any possible static electricity and keep the boards safe while you're working around them .
I would second the fact of checking the cymbal volume is set to 1.50 which will put you in the center of the mix .

:)spacemonkey and sam, thanks so much for your help.As Krillo explained to me in a previous help me thread, the manual is still a good read and always being one to heed experts,I re-read and still am re-reading the manual and each time I do I pick up a little more .You guys are right although I haven't actually had the guts yet to go and try out any new found knowledge.I'm so afraid to do something irreparable and totally mess this up.I'm soooo new to this electronic drumming and I know after hearing the incredible sound of these drums that I was lucky to get them. What you're telling me is starting to make sense with what I'm reading and I'm glad I didn't start ripping apart a module that obviously just needs some tweeking.Starting tomorrow,I'm going in and first off check out your directions.Your patience is appreciated,I'll let you know the outcome-Kenny
