Hi to everyone, I am facing a problem with my ddrum4 module. Whenever i hit a pad the LED sensor for the volume(the LED column left to the SYSTEM button) reaches it's top and stays there, like it is stuck. The problem with that is that when that happens , all the other strokes are ignored by the module. Does anyone else had the same problem? Thanks for your help and pardon my english.

Ok, I think that i was able to spot the problem and i will share the info with you : this behaviour occurs when a sound was not loaded correctly in the module. If "ERR" is shown then you have to find and delete that sound or else you will face that behaviour. Do you guys happen to know why I cannot load some samples while others are loaded ok Thanx again

Do you guys happen to know why I cannot load some samples while others are loaded ok Thanx again Samples within the dd4 library are varied in size so have you checked the size of certain samples you're trying to upload to make sure there is enough free space available in the module for them ? This is very true on SE samples in particular which are in most cases quite a bit larger than the more standard samples are . Also are you marking the samples you're deleting before deleting them ? I have had a few times in the past some fragments of samples get left behind and still be in the module when deleting before . sam(otacon28)

Sam thanks for your reply! The module has plenty of space!I recently deleted all samples loaded since I wanted to reload only my favourites.
2) When a download to the module fails i search and delete the sample that failed. I do not know what else to do right now. Could it be that some incompatibility exists between my m-audio 1010lt- win7 and the ddrum tool??? Do you have Any other ideas?
Thanks again sam!

I have the same problem!! I think it happens only with SE samples. I don't know why, becouse I have a lot of free memory, but some samples fail.

Make sure that the samples and the tool are located in root folder of your drive. Path must not exeed 256 characters. See help / usage in the ddrum4tool.

Hi Valdu, yes it was related to the samples that were uploaded from other sources, so I cleaned out the offending category (ie. cymbal 1) of all sounds and put back the original ones that it had shipped with from SE library, are you having problems?
