Hi everybody As i'm new to DDRUM world, I have some questions I would like to add tom pads to my DDRUM 4 and I saw some Roland Tom Pads for sell at a cheaper price (PD8, PD80R, PD120) - Are they ok to work together ? And, if I would like to add cymbal, - Can I use a pintech one ? Thanks for your answers Regards, SoniX

hi there, I am already using a CY-8 roland pad as a cymbal with my ddrum 4 se module and it works fine. It also works ok as a ride cymbal but i prefer to use the ddrum's original pad for that purpose. Hope i helped.

Pad wise, I use PD-8 PD-120, with great results. I found so far DDrum will play any pizeo type pad you throw at it. It triggers my Yamaha pads better than my DTXtreme 3 module (stopped using it after buying DDrum 4). I find the DDrum modules amazing.

if you want to have all three zones on the ride cymbal (bow/edge/bell) you should stick to the ddrum cymbal pads. For most ddrum4 users the 8 zone position sensing of the tom/snare pads aren't that important (More usable with the ddrum4 percussion sounds)
