ddrum 4, 1.4: I performed an 'F.all' factory reset and also deleted all samples from memory, followed by uploading the 4se factory config and then the complete 4se factory sample set. At this point, no kits were sounding. Then, I re-uploaded the 4se factory config file. This brought to life the p1 to p26 kits, but the f27 to f99 kits still weren't sounding.
I also have a module that I've upgraded to 1.5 and wondered if that might be a factor, but my logic is it should work for both 1.4 and 1.5
Any help much appreciated.
Revision: I've since thought that the only part of the ddrum 4 system that can't be written over is the f27 to f99 factory kits, so I'm assuming their setting might be fixed ones that are held on the eprom chip. Therefore, if I have loaded 4se sounds and the factory 'f' kits on the eprom chip are non-se ie ddrum 4 (because I have version 1.4), then I've loaded the wrong sounds for those kits (I started to realise this when selecting samples within the 'f' kits and the sample numbers were flashing because they weren't loaded). I have a feeling I may have answered my own post..

Yes you have to look at the sound list in the end of the manuals and make sure those files are loaded into the unit so they are playable

Are the sounds that are flashing able to be loaded without deleting them first from the module because I can't seem to delete the samples that are flashing and they have no sound, thanks,Ken

If I remember correctly, the flashing sound numbers indicate the missing sound's number required for loading into a kit?
