Hi everyone, I am new to this forum and i recently purchased a Ddrum DD5x electric drum set. I have use this set on a recording program i had as a demo (Sonar X1) and it worked fine. I have now purchased Sonar Home Studio and when i go to record my DD5x it seems go work great but only for about a minute before my set is no longer sending a signal. I have made sure everything in my preferences in Sonar are accurate and the SI-Drums work just fine. Its just when i hook up my kit it seems to just stop sending a signal. I am connected via USB. If anyone has had this issue or has some knowledge of what the problem is that would be great. I would like to get back to recording my tracks.

Hi
No ddrum products after the dd4SE are made by Clavia. I would guess your problems is due to USB drivers. If you have other things connected via USB, try to disconnect them. You can also mess with the USB Root Hub settings if you are on Windows. If you disable the ones you don't use, the performance often seem to improve.

No specific answer, but-
When this happens, go to the Sonar midi prefs, and see if your DD5x is still listed as a midi source, and also if it's still checked as enabled.
That will tell us a lot.
