I have just recently got myself a used Ddrum 4 v 1.3,And on eBay i saw for sale an Eprom 1.5 Upgrade for the Module so i went along and bought it,But the Seller of the Module told me to be careful because they have be known to overheat,So he advised me not to use it,Can anyone share with me there experiences with these upgrades,If they are safe or not ?,Thanks. P.S. Sorry but the Seller of the Module,And the Seller of the Chip where two different people,I thought that to anyone with a modicum of intelligence that would be obvious.

I upgraded my 1.30 to the 1.50 a few years ago and it's been perfectly fine. It makes me wonder why the seller would sell you the chip, the warn you not to use it...

Hi Kyrrinstoch,I too have just installed a 1.50 into a 1.32 ddrum4 module and all the newer sounds from 700 to 745 are all flashing with no sound and no way to stop or delete them. It's like it's stuck on shift/mark for deletion. Can I put in a different 1.50 chip?,thanks,Ken
