can someone explain me how the chokefunktion is made? i mean the technical side of it. Is it only possible with DDrum-Cymbals? And if it is, why?

The piezo in the pad is transmitting continous pressure data. Short and strong is usually a hit with the stick. Soft and long is your hand choking the cymal pad. The ddrum module uses pressure data to conduct the choke feature. Yes, it only works with ddrum cymbal pads.
By the way, pressure data are also used from the drum pads. For example you can push down the drum head with your stick or hand and the sound is influenced. Depends on the sounds if they respond to pressure. Some ddrum3 stock sounds do it (pitch increase if drum head is pushed down while playing). Again, it works only with ddrum pads too (not the stealth ones).

I dunno if there's a certain shape of signal required evoked by choking on ddrum cymbal pads? Try it :-)

You can even press on a red shot trigger to choke it's sound. Piezos produce VLF when pressed, and it it this signal that is used. (VLF=very low frequency, close to DC)
