Getting ready to purchase a module. Not sure what version. Does it have to be the SE version to use the Ddrumtool to upload the sounds from the computer?

Greetings sonordrummer08! ddrum4tool should work for any version of the dd4 on Windows. The sound files are standard midi files so any tool that supports (S)ample(D)ump(S)tandard sysex transfer will work as well. For MacOS SysEx Librarian is a great tool. For Windows MIDI-OX is also still available. And C6 SysEx Manager is still available for both Windows and MacOS (32 bit). Cheers! Ken

To: KenJWright. Awesome, thanks. 1 more question. I got the Mio Iconnectivity. It's showing in the ( midi out and midi in ) on the ddrum4tool. Got the module booted up and is showing PAL, but when transferring a sound, it keeps Showing PAL and nothing else. What do you recommend?

This might seem silly, but an easy mistake to make; Make sure the black MIDI OUT connector on the mio is connected to the Midi In port on the ddrum module. It can seem counter-intuitive but the IN/OUT on the mio connectors refer to the direction to/from the computer versus the module.
BTW, sitting at PAL is fine.
Cheers!
Ken

Got it, thanks. I'll post a video when everything is setup, still waiting on my Sonor kit. Going for a hybrid setup.
