Those are the chips involved in data transfer to and from the memory chips. Could be one or none :/ Hi Krillo! I'm back after a while... so... I replaced all the chips U17, U18, U19, U20, U21, U22, U26, U27 and U29, one by one... nothing... always the same error E.31!!! Is there anything else I can try to do?? Or just throw away this unit? Are we 100x100 sure that should not be the eprom??

Hi! I would not think the eprom itself would be faulty but surely cannot rule it out considering all the chips you've replaced already without success so might be worth a try?

violaole, I have a 1.3 eprom that I could send you to try if you like. Rule out one more thing at least. Cheers! Ken

Hi violaole. A long shot, but have you verified voltages from the power supply are correct? Cheers! Ken

The same PSU was used in the DDrum4 and the Nord Lead keyboard. Maybe the +3.3V part is specific to the Nord Lead version, to be confirmed.
