On my Ddrum2 brain, if I assign the same sound to both input #1 and #2, and use the same pad, #2 triggers much more accurately with softer hits. Basically, input #1 seems to have changed over time.
Additionally, I use HART pro pads with this brain, and while they work, they must have a slightly lower output than the original DDrum pads, as I cannot get maximum volume out of the brain. It works OK, but not optimal.
SO:
Does anyone know what part of the circuitry affects the overall sensitivity? I'm hoping there's a resistor in there, inline with the pots. If so, I can probably replace the #1 resistor to fix it, and hopefully replace ALL of them with a sllghtly lower value, so as to increase sensitivity overall.
Also: (I have not yet looked inside) Do we know what value pots were used for the sensitivity knobs? (and whether log or linear?)
