Does anyone know where a replacement ribbon cable in a Ddrum4 1.33 can be found,There is a crease it that folds it completely in half,I downloaded all the schematics from Ken's dropbox but it doesn't show the cable,Ken

Does anyone know where a replacement ribbon cable in a Ddrum4 1.33 can be found... You'll likely need to make a replacement yourself but fortunately this is rather simple and DigiKey typically has the required components available. It just takes a little time to cross reference, however these types of cables, aside from particular lengths and connector combinations, are quite standard. Cheers! Ken |

Thanks alot Ken,I was concerned about the crease but from what I understand it's Ok as long as you don't keep bending it even the other ddrum4 has the same exact cable and crease and they do seem easy to make if needed.I was curious about the reason for them doing this is it because the flat cable can't touch or lay on the upper or lower boards?maybe a they melt on the circuits,Thanks as always Ken.....Ken
