Seeing how the ddrum4/4se files are all PC based, I have installed Windows XP on my Mac via Virtual Box. I can open the ddrum tool and hear all of the sound files from all of the libraries, but sending them to the 4se module is where I'm getting stuck. The ddrum tool MIDI setup only gives me "Microsoft GS Wavetable SW Synth" as a 'MIDI out Devises" option. Would using a powered midi/audio converter (M Audio) help or is the fact that I'm running virtual Windows through a Mac (El Capitan) my problem? Is there any way to run the ddrum tool and preview ddrum libraries on a Mac without some sort of virtual conversion? Anyone? Thanking you in advance . . .

Use the Sysex librarian on Mac OS X. You'll be able to load samples/dump samples from the brain, but you'll not be able to preview them.

1) Select your MIDI device from the Destination dropdown (defaults to "Act as a source for other programs"). 2) Highlight all of the sounds to send, then press the Play button.
The ddrum4 is always in receive mode so nothing special to do on the module other than confirm space is available. If you get any "Err" messages on the module that is typically due to either too short of a pause between messages (around 20ms is usually ok) or the Transmit speed needs to be slowed down a bit. Both of these settings are maintained in the SysEx Librarian Preferences.
Cheers!
