Hi everybody.
None of my Hi-Hat sounds are responsive to the clutch. There's always a closed HH sound.
I do have the HH calibrated correctly. All of the percussion sounds respond as they should (eg. The tympani sound rises in pitch when the HH is closed, lowers when open, etc.)
I've concluded that there must be something fishy with the hi-hat samples, their MIDI values, or something.
I've already done a full system restore and the problem persists.
Any suggestions about how to fix this would be greatly appreciated!

Hi!
I assume you have the dd4 module. Make sure the number of notes for the hihat is set to 8. Also note that if you have imported your own samples, it won't respond 100% correct, if at all. Also I believe only the mega samples work correctly.
Hope this helps!

Also I believe only the mega samples work correctly. Hope this helps! Thanks very much! I did wind up downloading hi-hat samples from the Mega Kits library and they work just fine. I'm interested to see whether the ones I'd already had will work with the number of notes set to 8 (that already may be the case.) Thanks for all the help you provide to everyone on this forum. You're a great resource!

Hi Krillo,It's been awhile since you last saved me,Just bought a DDrum4 SE 1.54 and can't hear the sample when set to 150(center)it registers as a hit on the LED but is so low it's almost off.All other numbers work fine,100-148/152-200 all trigger. This is any channel, any sample, any trigger setting,I basically have no center channel,Any Ideas would again be helpful, thanks from a long time fan,Kenny

Hi sorry for the late answer. This sounds like a out-of-phase-issue. Check that whatever you have the dd4 connected to does not have one of the channels phase-inverted. This is assuming you run two channels (left & right) from the dd4.
