I just snatched this up from eBay Germany. Haven't tried it out yet. I think it's the EX-board. You can dial it in in the menu when choosing samples... The ad said it was a "speicherplatine", i.e sample card, but that would have the phono / RCA jack!? This one doesn't. It definately has some memory chips on it. Will report back

Alright, so I installed the card. It's a 4MB EX-card. I'm really interested if someone else has come across one of these, I have never seen it stated by anyone. According to the manual p12, the EX-cards can be max 256MB. I'm guessing these chips were expensive back then, so the few made was 4 or 8MB. There are 4 1MB chips installed on the card, and there are a total of 16 "slots". So if I can find compatible 16M chips that would amount to 256MB. If there is any interest in getting these, I might check if it's possible to have a manufacturer make copies of the PCB.

I have one of these as well. Mine is a 8MB board. Anyone have any of the old brochures or spec sheets? Be curious to learn more about how this stuff was marketed and how it added to the overall cost.
