I wasn't able to figure out what version my dump utility is but I was able to get a copy of the file of the same version off of the person I bought my G3 powerbook from . Here's the link to the Zip file that also has Alchemy v 3.0 for those that may not allready have it . www.4shared.com/file/Qhdp_2RP/dd3_tools_bundle.htmlIf someone can tell me what version this utility is that would be great . I'm more of a PC user , so I still am not sure how you find out what version this is . sam(otacon28)

It says the file is from 1995. I guess it's no newer version than the one around. I'm still not sure if there was an updated version released with the dd3 CD at all. It might be the same old version from 1995 just added once more to the later CD release.

I think there is no other way than sticking to an old classic Mac OS (max. 9.2.2)

I didn't find a version number anywhere. It only says:
© Clavia 1993-95
The file is indeed from 1995.
@drumkat: Is it possible to see the version no. somewhere? You said you remember ver 1.17 ?

That's pretty much all I was able to find out about it as well . I'm more of a windows user , so I'm not sure of the difference of file detail labeling on Mac vs. PC. This is the version of the utility that is loaded in my G3 powerbook currently sam(otacon28)
