Hey i wanted to make different drum sets have different midi note numbers so the midi note being sent out the module for my kick on patch P.2 might be note number2. But for another drum set i would like to make the kick drum send out midi note number 5. I cant do this? They seem to stay the same for every patch? Is it because i have the ddrum4 with old firmware 1.20? Or is this just not possible to do on the ddrum4? Thanks for your help RazoR Nassau Chainsaw

Razor, the MIDI note assignment is for the module and not for the individual kits.
the only reason I could think to do this would be to trigger an external sampler or lighting module and have the samples/lighting effects change based on the kit you're using.
That being said, if your sampler/lighting module can change the patches assigned to the note numbers, then I'd program them there and use a patch change signal to change the kit on your ddrum4 and the program on the sampler/lighting unit at the same time.
You fortunately, I don't remember if the ddrum4 can send a patch change message (I know it will accept them...), so you may need to have that controlled from another source.
